Club 33. One of the most mysterious and exclusive places in Disneyland. Lets start with the exclusive part shall we?

Club 33 is an extremely exclusive club. The corperate members pay $40,000 on initiation alone, whereas individual members pay $27,000 to be initiated. As of 2011 there was a 14 year waiting list. The clubs waiting list closed for some time but was re-opened in 2005. The annual dues to be part of the club are about $12,000. So, if your an individual member and have $39,000 to spend, go to Club 33 for one year. If your a Corperate member, and you have $52,000 to throw around, also go to Club 33 for one year. Hmmmmm....

Now that your mind is blown, I'll blow it even more and tell you the facts and details of such a high end place. Firstly, Club 33 opened on June 5th, 1967 and was intended for the Disney V.I.P. and executive members only. But turned into the most exclusive club at Disneyland or any of the Disney parks. The inside of the club is what you pay for. It has the nicest interior of most anything at Disneyland.

To find the club itself is a hard task. All the entrances are painted in what the Disney imaginners call "Go Away Green". This certain color diverts the guests eyes so they don't even notice the club. To enter the club you have to press a buzzer and tell the receptionist your name, if your on the list, you may enter. When you do gain access, you are presented with a choice. Take the glass elevator up to th second floor or take the winding staircase that goes around it. The elevator is a replica of one Walt saw in Paris. On the dining floor, you can see old peices of furniture collected by Lilian Disney. Original Disneyland cocept art and other types of art cover the walls. The club itself is a classical and very fancy place to be. The very special harpsicord inside was built especially for Lilian Disney and has been played by Sir Elton John and Sir Paul Mcartney. The Club is actually the only place in the Disneyland park where alcohol can be purchased.

Even though we know so much about this place in the middle of New Orleans Square, Disneyland, we don't know really what its like to be there. You have to be there to experience the full Club 33. So Disneyland will always have a place where the rich can be among other rich people. But when they leave the infamous Club 33, they will be at Disneyland just like the rest of us.
